This is a very different book than I have ever read. It takes place in the future in a very large city. Jordy leaves his home and wants to make it big in the city and live with his uncle. I'm a sucker for a good adventure novel, and with music and bad guys thrown in what's not to like!
The main character, Jordy is a pretty likable guy, I wanted him to succeed. I felt for him when he was left on his own by his uncle, but was encouraged by his resourcefulness. His ability to make friends in all walks or airways of life in the big city is what saves the day.
The plot kept me coming back, wondering what's he gonna do now? I must honestly say I didn't see it coming. I liked that, when a story is too predictable its no fun.
This would be a satisfying beach book.
